Green Day's concept album

"Green Day's forthcoming American Idiot will be a concept album that follows a character named Jesus of Suburbia as he comes of age. 'I developed the character from personal experiences [over the years],' says singer Billie Joe Armstrong. 'But [the album is] definitely set to the political and cultural climate that's going on right now.' The punk trio will announce its fall tour dates later this summer."
